TorchGuard ("the app," "we," "us") is a flashlight and emergency-utility app published by 1509607 B.C. LTD.. We built TorchGuard to work fully offline and to respect your privacy completely. The app does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. It contains no analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting tools.
None. TorchGuard does not collect any personal data about you. We do not create user accounts, we do not ask for your name, email, or phone number to use the app, and we do not receive any information about how you use it.
The only personal data the app stores is an optional emergency contact (a name and a phone number or email address) that you choose to enter in Settings. This information:
TorchGuard makes zero network requests. Every feature — flashlight, compass, SOS, siren, Morse code, and the rest — runs entirely on your device and works with no internet connection, including in Airplane Mode. Because the app never connects to the internet, none of your information could be sent anywhere even in principle.
TorchGuard does not access your location. It never requests location permission, never reads GPS or network-based location, and never stores your coordinates for any purpose. The compass feature uses your device's magnetometer to show a heading; this is direction data, not location data, and it is not recorded or transmitted.
TorchGuard ships with no third-party SDKs of any kind — no analytics, no advertising networks, no crash reporting, no social logins. We do not use processors or partners that would receive your data, because no data is collected to begin with.
TorchGuard is a one-time purchase. Payment is handled entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never see or receive your payment details. Those purchases are processed under Apple's and Google's own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.
TorchGuard is suitable for all ages and does not collect personal data from anyone, including children. Because we collect no data at all, we collect none from children.
Privacy laws such as the GDPR (EU/UK) and CCPA (California) give you rights to access, correct, or delete personal data a company holds about you. Because TorchGuard collects and holds no personal data about you on our side, there is nothing for us to retrieve, correct, or delete. The only personal data involved — your optional emergency contact — is under your direct control on your own device, and you can edit or remove it at any time in the app's Settings.
If we ever change how the app handles data, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above. Because privacy is a core promise of TorchGuard, any future change that would affect it will be described plainly here.
